Peer Assessment
Peer Assessment - Holly Beaumont
Overall assessment of blog: Lots of detail included on your blog in each individual post. You also have a large variety of potential front cover images, both original and manipulated, which is good!
Strengths of front cover: The covers main image fills a good amount of space and the variety of font is very effective. Overall, this front cover looks very professional!
Areas to improve: Possibly use less colours.

I love your blog its very clear and you have put a lot of effort into researching your music genre for your own magazine. I like the way you have shown all of your pictures and how they was to how they are after being edited. As well you have added to your blog inspiration of outfits, makeup and mise en scene which shows you have made an effort with th researching for your front cover.
Your final draft is great and I love the way the model is stood and the way you have edited her hair to fit with your colour scheme of your magazine. You have used a lot of sell lines in the left and right thirds of your magazine which you instantly want to read as the font you have used is understood clearly. I also like the tag line you have used at the top editing biggest and best to go over her head.
I think you could develop the sell lines and maybe use less so its not as busy or use less of the different fonts and maybe also play around with the colouring of the fonts and the way theyre laid out. But overall I think your front covers are really good and not much needs to be changed.

Your blog is really clear and well set out showing good understandment of the tasks you had to complete. Your reseach is very strong showing you have out alot of thought into to creating your magazine front cover. Shows you have looked into the image of the model very carefully. With the lighting and clothing and the way the model is posed. Your front cover is really good with clear undersranding who the artist are and the main image. The text and well expanded taking up most of the front cover. Showing no gaps or space. The colours are very bright and draws the reader in making it look intresting. Areas for development could be stick to a couple of fonts and not many too many colours.
